Might be doing a trade for some vorax geckos next weekend.

I have been doing some reading and noticed that a lot of the geckos that are sold as vorax geckos are not really voraxs.

Can some one help me out with the scientific names? Any one keep them?

Not sure why I have been venturing into geckos lately but damn they seem to be addicting.

Just like anything Indo, every Island has its own variation........Geyhra Marginata and Vorax are nearly identical.......

Thank you Eric,

Is their care relatively the same?

I have been reading a decent amount in the past few days, it says "vorax" geckos are rare so aside from pics any way to know which type is which? The guy selling insist they are vorax geckos

Care is the same as any Indo or Tropical Gecko.......Vorax I believe comes from Halmahera and the Molluccas, Marginata comes from the more mainland Islands. They are Vorax Geckos in the sense that no one in Indo knows the difference between the two, and to be honest, I'm sure you can split that group into 12 different holotypes......

Thank you again.

I think I may have to work a little harder on this trade .......I should just stick with frogs.
