Anything you raise in your own aquariums and know is disease free/fed a good gutload its whole life is the best feeder fish.

Disease ridden store-bought feeders are the worst, regardless of the species of fish.

hey why is there no mollies in the line up???
i prefer feeding them,..just a dug a pond at your backyard and put some plants and starting pairs for breeding..whalah population will multiply in months..just dont forget to quarintine before feedng

I catch and quarantine (for 6 weeks) bluegills for my monster jardini. I also raise convicts for the smaller fish.

I voted for Convvicts as top breeder to be feeder.........I can easily get a pair to do three spawingings ion one month.....The Fry, fed bbs for the firts two weeks, will reach a fat size quickly....I usually have the feeders, replenshed with the next sopawn by the time I am done feedeiong them to my monsters..........

i don't know aren't they the ones that require brackish water? i just want something simple
