So Today I picked up a 6 inch Vulture cat for my 180 gallon that currently homes an Alligator Gar(1 foot) and a Silver Arowana (1 foot). So I added the cat to the tank the sizes were all good in terms of fish eating each other however my Gar did get curious since the cat was swimming across the front panel of the tank he took a bite thankfully I was there to separate the fish. The Cat is currently in a hospital tank with some torn fins and a little blood i attached a photo of the damage hes super stressed I added some stress coat to the tank but would love to know what else I can do for the poor guy.

Just keep water clean and Vulture Catfish should recover.

Super clean water, Salt, elevate the temp will bring on a higher immune response.

I clean deeper wounds 3x antiobiotic cream and for some of the more intense wounds liquid Bandage.

That’s not to bad thou do a half dose of salt for that cat he will be fine.

Yeah hes already swimming around enjoying the empty tank so within a week or two he should be healed up and my Gar is being re-homed so he'll go back into his forever tank
