Was at the LFS today and couldn't pass this guy up. Been looking for a nice catfish that doesn't get too big for a while. Will be housed with cichla eventually.

My Vulture is about 16 Inches and till now he doesnt try to eat even small fishes like
small Geophagus or Dats.
He never hides , very cool cat.

I got him at this size .
But i heard from many people that they are not
very predatory when enough food is provided.

He's beautiful, I've been wanting one but I have a community tank with Severums and some smaller fish like keyholes and sajica juveniles. So I'm afraid if I get a baby vulture cat that it will make a quick meal of a lot of my fish lol I might try it when they are all adult size and have some size on it
I have him with small Heros and dats about 3 inches
without any Problems.

Thanks for the nice comments. So far really like it. Swims all over the tank, very active so far. It's a little over five inches I would guess. Have it with a similarly sized sun car for now. Here in a few weeks will probably put it in with my cichla growouts.
