w/d and bubbles

so my wetdry has finally been tuned up.
all of my biomedia was completely submerge
and now its set up like a true w/d trickle filter, with water only flowing through the media and the to the sump

now it making alot of bubbles, could this be nitrate to nitrate gas ?
