not the hood
I have 2 pacus in a tirty gallon tank just babies 2 in yesterday i added a oscar and two tinfoil barbs the same size to grow out together and the put in a 210 gallon when bigger they were all doing fine the oscar was digging in sand know tonite they all got ick and the oscar is lieing on his side nitrate amonina all good temps at 76 rasied to 82 and add salt in hope it might help looking for any ideas in why this would happen:screwy:

You added the unquarantined oscar and tinfoil barbs. They are ich carriers and ich will appear when they are stressed which makes sense since you just moved them to the 30g. Moving them around is very stressful. Next time, quarantine the new ones in another tank for at least four weeks. Keep your dosage of salt consistent at a tablespoon per 5g and maximize oxygen levels since the increased temperature depletes the oxygen levels.

yea, before adding new fish; have them in another tank for about 1.5-2 weeks to see if they're desiesed. because you cant ALWAYS trust LFS fish.

if you're going to use medicines, reccomend not using anything with malachite green, it stains silicon :S
