I just tested the water and nitrates are at 30ppm and nitrates are at 0.5ppm.

Wait till you have all nitrates. You should have 0 ammonia and very close to zero nitrites, although sometimes in densely stocked situations (mainly aquaculture) you will see nitrites persist.

Yes. It is. Ive actually added three, four striped damsels and they seem to be acclimating to the new climate rather nicely
