waiting for new tank syndrome...

i ordered a tank at the end of last month and finally recieved an email today detailing delivery...

"your order is moving nicely up the line, i'll be in touch as soon as the lads begin building to arrange delivery"

im too bloody impatient. ive ordered all the stuff for the tank and its sat waiting ive added the filter foams to my current tank to cycle them and all i really have to do is arrange the electrics. how do you cope with the waiting for your tanks!!!??

I know the feeling all too well and feel your pain. I too am awaiting a new tank. I was told between 4 and 5 weeks, it's now week 6.
Two Fx5 filters still sitting in their boxes, 80kg of sand in the garage and a freshly painted stand in the lounge with no tank on it.
I guess all good things are worth waiting for. I have just been browsing all the lfs within an hours drive, but its definately frustrating.

I feel your pain man. I had to wait 4 weeks for a tank that was supposed to be delivered in a few days. The worst thing was that I wanted to build the stand to match the tank exactly, so I had to wait for it before I could start building the stand.

I've been cycling it for two weeks now and it's so much worse than when I was waiting for it to arrive becuase now I have to look at it every day. I think I've done over 100 water tests in two weeks!!

lol I have a similar syndrome, it's the waiting for supplies syndrome. I have my ned 100g, and I finihsed the stand for it, but I don't have all the supplies for the sump, nor protein skimmer or pumps yet.

It definetly sucks, last spring the 5-6weeks turned into 9-10weeks and then when it was finally delivered....it was damaged. So then had to wait another month.
