I have though about this for a while and I have been making small move towards it, but I am going to be getting rid of a lot of my Vics. I just posted my Latisfaciata Group in the marketplace. I have successfully bred them a couple of times, but the aggression sometime makes it not worth the tankspace.

Plus, I have been toying with the idea of getting some bigger cichlids. i will be however keeping my group of Astatotilapia Nubila. I refuse to let them go until I get them breeding. Seems as though it has become a mission in life.

Good luck man, I know that I wouldn't be able to let go of my vics. I love them too much. What are you keeping now, new world cichlids?

I want to switch my focus in a couple directions. Looking at getting a few CA/SA cichlids, but want to jump back in Mbuna and Peacocks. Might even step into Haps. I know once I have my 125 set up, I will be getting an adult pair of Jags.

That's cool, I used to have a pair of jags until I sold them to get vics. Good luck with the changes. Hope the nubilus breeds for you.

Oh no....oh no.. no fake fish for me my friend. Can't do it.

Well, since I am getting a 5 x 8 sheet of glass, I was thinking of building a monster tank to put some monsters in.
I have really started to like p-bass. Either those or some Emperor cichlids.
(Subject to change :naughty:)

Are you really sure you want to do this..maybe just keep a smaller set up for the Victoria,. is there really that much aggression... maybe change things around a bit..i do not know why but i can't see you with out your Vic fish...

I will keep the nubila, and have been thining of keeping a breeding group of Hap sp. 44. Other than that, I need a break from them.
You would be surprise at how much agrtession there is. And it is all coming from the females. They kill anything that gets in the tank with them.

well i can understand that...it takes so long to grow them and nurture them and then to have them kill each other is heartbreaking... i am glad your keeping the sp44..
