walking catfish constantly digging

My walking catfish is constantly dI going and sticking his head under the gravel I don't mind it in this tank but I plan on moving him down stairs in my 125 with sand I have pool filter sand will the tank constantly be foggy? Or will he settle down he's about 10 inches
 
Many fish dig and even bury themselves. It should not affect water clarity. If there is some turbidity at first, it should subside with time as the filter's doing its work. I think.

Okay thank you I just got him yesterday so that's why I was unsure :) I have an eheim 2026 and emperor 400 as my filtration
 
If you have the mechanical filter portion in your canisters and lastly a polisher, you should not note any effect on water clarity, IME.
