This may not apply to everyone right now but it may become a trend that AMC follows.

AMC is raising the cost of their contract with Suddenlink by 50%. So Suddenlink is following the greedy trail that AMC started and is planning on dropping them next week. Yes...just a few days BEFORE the season 2 finale of The Walking Dead.

For those that don't have Suddenlink. I'd investigate who you are with because they could be next.

I've already made phone calls and sent emails to both sides. Now to wait and see what happens.

Here's Suddenlink's comments on it:

AMCTV doesn't say much but does warn of it and gives contact numbers:

Remember other shows besides TWD are affected.

Thanks for the info but I don't think this applies to me with my Comcast cable.Never heard of suddenlink,is it a cable company?

Yes it's a cable company. My second fear outside of suddenlink is that AMC will do this with all their contracts. Most likely at a later date then Suddenlinks.

That's why I just watch everything through my laptop. Just hook up your laptop to your TV with an HDMI cable and if you've got a fast internet connection, it'll look pretty sharp. Paying for cable is a waste of money IMO.
