Heres my little guy showing off the merchandise.

Just a quick question though, what are those white spots and are those normal or are they parasites or something that i have to treat? The fish more than doubled his size in his first month but i only see him when the lights are dim. He would always hide. He is ALWAYS full.

Those feeders are cultured.

they kinda look like tiny abcess/zits to me. don't think that's normal.. but idk about these guys enough say one thing or another.

But that is one cool fish =)

Does it not look like the omnipresent ich? To me it does. It occurs for two common reasons: immune system weakening in a fish or a very severe infestation on a tank mate(s). I'd check the water parameters and the feeders.

Tried getting him off live? Agree it does look like ich. Havent had it in a long time but use to use salt, higher temps with extra air, And daily water changes. If not in a qtank you will need to treat whatever tank he is in. Im sure u know well the danger inherent with feeders. Seems others have had success with this species going off live. :) awesome fish i hope to own one day
