Anybody ever kept this catfish before seen one at the lfs for 50 bucks the first one I seen for sale around me

Not many may recognize this name as the micropogon was only very recently spit from leerii and attu. What I am saying people might have kept it or keep it but think it is a leerii or, less likely, attu.

Indeed. I suspect that quite a few members have in fact kept this variety. I've often wondered why there was so much variety in leeri and attu; this new species really clarifies the situation well.
