339580_591281769848_1568968430_o.jpg3/8 or 1/4 oz jig. can be lead head, orange, or black w/ yellow eye. (depends on weather and light conditions) with or without chartreuse grub with tail powerbait and either a live minnow or a worm (whole crawler hooked on at least 3-4x with about 3-4in trailing for action). no more than 8lb test line on a light to medium action rod (ulgy stik has best feel in my opinion for the price) no more that 6.5ft in length with a decent spinning reel- find structure with a fairly sharp dropoff and plenty of current- usually about 25-50 yards off a point or island or rock. (sandbars also a great place) 20-30ft of water. Always remember where you catch them- where there is one walleye, there will almost always be more, they tend to school. also record the times you catch them, they move in patterns depending on water temp, and weather conditions. Will hit almost anything during spawn though, cast crankbaits towards the shore and you will find them in weedy areas. Favorite fish to catch, and eat!

another Indy guy? Not too many places to find big walleye around us, although ironically I hear good stories of monsters coming out of white river in indy!
