Ive been catching walleye alot recently, and I am hoping to keep one as a tank specimen. But I need to know these few things before I keep one.

Whats a good tank size?

Ph?

Good Tankmates?

Maximum Temp?

Thanks.

If you are in the Great Lakes area, I'd check your regulations as there are restrictions on transporting live fish.

I would think a 180g would be sufficient, and I'm guessing cooler temps would be nice. You could probably keep one with anything it couldn't eat, maybe yellow perch or various sunfish. PH is not a big concern with your average native fish but I'd leave it at whatever you get from the tap to avoid variances.

Not in the great lakes area. I have a collectors license anyway though. Thanks for the info too!
