Walleye

I went fishing on my bday, 10th of may and i caught these nice walleye. The first one measured about 28" and weight almost 10 lbs and the second one was around 7 lbs i didn't get weight this one. My brothers also caught some nice walleye and bass. We fished these in Rigaud around Montreal. All in all this was probably ma best day fishing this year we dont have a boat so we caught everything from shore.

WOW! How do u catch Walleye from shore? I've fished the Columbia River here in WA many times and it has Walleye too but never caught one from shore. Just Smmall Mouth Bass and Catfish.

They are only around the shore after the snow melts up to early june then they go into deep water because the water gets to warm at shore. I guess the water stays colder for longer in montreal. I caught those two walleye with berkley gulp leachs.

i caught a sawgeye one time in the missouri river and it was 5 pounds and i caught it on a grass hopper with a size 8 hook on a ultralight setup

Looks like some good dinner. Nice smallmouth too. Everytime I hook a 1 lb SMB, I think it's a monster of the deep. They are a tough fight.

Nice! The first fish I ever snagged was a walleye.
