walleyes

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I have never seen walleye kept successfully in any tank but the one at Bass Pro, Im assuming its because they like cooler temps, to feed at night and structure.

I would not say that the walleyes at bass pro shop are kept very successfully either, they are in horrible shape.

There is one fellow on here that had one, you might be able to find a couple threads if you look back. He said that Walleyes are a very very boring fish, they just rest around in the day and are more active in the dark.

I would think that they are a very boring aquarium fish to keep. I keep yellow perch which act similar to them but more active and i even find them boring.

I've kept Walleye and Sauger successfully in a very large and well oxygenated aquarium at a temperature of 70 to 72 degrees for close to three years now.

I found the walleyes to be boring in the aquariums. Kept few of them in the past but I got bored of them quickly as they are always hiding or just laying around wait for the lights go off.

here are my wall eyes :D
