Walmart Cruelity

I went to walmart today and asked "do you ask people if they have a cycled tank" and the guy replys "no ,i just assume they do." ,"do you ask how big they're tanks are" "no" ,"do you ask what its going with" "no" ,and finally "do you really care about what happens to the fish once they leave ??" "no ,not really". The tanks were over stocked ,they had many sick fish and worst of all did a dead fish count 3 times that day all yelding dead fish ,and the fish that were dying but still alive they but into the garbage to.:irked::(
 
I think we've posted all our experience about Walmart.. if u search the threads.. just join in! But we all know how it goes, there's nothing we can do at the end... just dun buy from them.. and when they got no income to make out of fish, they will eventually just have to stop (WE'RE HOPING)!
Sigh... i know what u mean buddy...

that's what happened around here at one walmart. too many dead fish. no one willing to take care of them so the store manager pulled them from the store. I do have to give props to the store manager for pulling the tanks. Now they are remodleling the store. So i hope they don't just go stick them right back in.

on a side note if you don't like the way they treat there fish. tell people that. don't get people to buy there fish. sooner or later they will be forced to pull there fish
 
wow i cant believe you straight up asked him if they cared about the fish, good job i wouldent have the guts to do that
 
I would have the guts if I feel temper rising in myself.
 
I wuz looking to buy a cheap filter there... hahaha.. and i watched the guy do a 10 minute presentation on how water filters =) HAHAHAHAH! I let him finish cuz it wuz a good laugh for me.. me and my girlfriend had to hold the laughter in! HAHAHAHA! So eventually it went to the question what u got in ur tank... and he went first.. he said a few cichlid.. hahaha.. then he asked back... after telling him a few of our giants.. he eventually stepped back a few.. HAHA! i guess he felt dumb!
 
man i havent looked at my walmarts fish in so long... heck i havent been in walmart for so long. I couldnt bear to look
 
I once asked an employee if they realize how big the pacu they were selling get and he replied "They will only go to the size of their tank" I was stunned for a moment and then said back "Your right about that because they will always die before they get larger than the tank.(Very sarcastically)" and just walked away disgusted
