I went to a newer walmart that is about 20 minutes from my house and went to check out the fish. well many people say never to buy fish from walmart because they always have ich. well these fish looked healthy, either that or they had just gotten them.
anyway, so im looking at the different kind of fish they have and i noticed that they had several senegal bichir and i got excited and looked for their tag to see how much they were. first of all, they had them names dinosaur eel. WRONG. and they were selling them for $7 a piece. they usually go for $15 in petstores.
they were also selling green spotted puffers just as "puffers" for $4
and the lady that worked there was like do you realize these fish are aggressive? and my boyfriend was like if you saw her tank you would realize she loves aggressive fish.
the lady also said that she tried to put the bichir with dragon goby because she thought they were in the same family... wow, the people they choose to work around fish. poor fish, atleast i saved some lives yesterday.
