walmart not selling fish?

The wife and I just went to walmart and as usual I took a quick trip through the fish section.EVERY fish was on clearance.The kid that helped me said they were gonna quit selling fish.He didn't know if they were the only store or if they would all stop.Anybody know anything?

BTW, I picked up 3 1.5" red-hooks for under $8.Not a great deal, but cheaper than petsmart and I saved 3 fish.

They are probably stopping at that store because it isn't profitable anymore. Imagine that.

they just downsized like their worst 400 stores...... still about 1500 still selling fish......

This is really great news and proves that for the most part Wal-mart fish dept. DOES NEGLECT their fish!! I do like being able to see fish at the 24 hour walmart whenever I am in there late, but if it's better for the fish than cool.
