Wanna get an FRT

Hey people,

i'm currently changing the stock to my tank from a red snakehead to something else. Red's are pretty common here so i wanted to start collecting harder to find channa's. Anyways i've always wanted a FRT and i've seen them for sale for abt $20US and they are about 2 and half inches (diameter). Do you think that is expensive for something that size? Also its gonna go in with a Channa Asiatica. What do FRT's eat and whats their growth rate etc.?

all depends where you are. that is really cheap compared to the states and uk, by a few hundred

If you have the spare tank ,strong filtration and have done your homework on how to keep them , then by all means, get them . Very personable and fun turtle to keep .

keep em i would have a few now if it werent for the price... i could have a couple breeding pairs i am sure if i had that many
