Rally, How large and old is your male? My male is currently 5" (SL) Hope he turns out like yours.

I've never measured him, but I'm guessing about 8"

These fish certainly have a unique head shape.

I believe so. The owner passed away and a local aquarium group rescued his fish. I had the male and female nic for about a month. I had thought it was a vieja species at first. The tanks were a mess and all I saw was the head... never thought a nic could get that large!
