I want to remove my sponge filter/powerhead combo to give the tank a 56 column a little more space cause I have pretty heavy load of fishes about six raphael catfish, seven yoyo loaches, four blood parrot,two featherfin catfish, and two blue gourami. Some time in the future I want upgrade to 150 gallon tall tank with these fishes, but for now they are all still pretty small no one over three inches. I change about 50 to 60 % water weekly some time twice a week. I would like to replace the powerhead/songe filter with aquaclear 70 . This would give me ac 70 and eheim 2217 as main filters and some emmerse plants as additional help in removing nitrates. i would also like to go with some anubas on drift wood and change my regular flourascent lamp to single th50 and do away with some of the lucky bamboo would this be good direction to go to?
