what makes it a male...


I pick all my stock up from my LFS-She gets all her stock from vendor in Cali.......But I wont mention names...

that has a big nuchal bump wich means male but it doesnt have long extensions on its fins but it doesnt have a lot of color on its chin so i would definetly say male

So female would have long extensions and also more marking on face then-
Hump means nothing when it comes to female or male-IMHO
I had a proven female RD with a huge hump for her size.....Maybe GT's are a bit different then...who the heck knows-Not me...LOL

Male, the thick orange band on the tail, the big hump is a dead give away with GTs, and his color. Females have a sloped head, less orange on the tail, shorter to no trailers on fins, and are more of an olive green/brown.

no females dont have fin extensions and females sometimes have nuchal bumps but i dont think that big on a gt
