I have a 120g tank with 1 male Jack Dempsey (5in), 1 male Firemouth (3in) and 3 Clown Loaches. I do 85% water changes every week and the tank is heavily filtered. I would love to add a Midas or an Amphilphus Amarillo, but that prob.wouldn't happen but thats my first choice let me know. I was also thinking Green Terror or a Texas cihlid. Any other suggestions would be great, I would love to add a large growing fish and I am a fan of big natchul humps. Please let me know what you guys think, and remember I would only add one more fish, what do you guys think? Thanks

Hey guys, really want a Midas would that work with the mix listed above. If not let me know what you guys think about the Green Terror. Another idea would be to get a few Midas and grow them out with the tankmates that are already in their (and pick the best male), then make the decision whether to keep the Midas with the Clown Loaches, or keep the Jack and Firemouth and sell the Midas for a few bucks. What do you think?

I say get yourself a midas. I wouldnt drop a full grown midas in right off the bat but grow out a smaller one

You could add the Midas with the Dempsey. I think eventually the firemouth may be in trouble. But 6 foot is large enough for even more than that. I have a 6 foot tank with an Oscar, Jag, Tex, and Polleni, plus a school of silver dollars. No aggression issues. So far

Thanks Guys! I was really hoping I could get a Midas, it is a 120g and 4ft so I know there's not a ton of room. My firemouth is actually pretty aggressive so he may be ok. I want to make sure I get a nice male with the potential for a big hump, you think I could get two or three and pick the best of the bunch? I have heard pet smart is a descent place to get these, since I don't mind if their pure or not (midevil) is ok do you think that's a good place to start? Thanks guys I'm so pumped!!!!!

yea you should be able to get a few from petsmart, then before a possible pair forms pull the other 2 fish.as you watch the tank of devils, try to get 1 or 2 of the less aggressive fish.be aware that at 5-6 inches or so,RD can possibly start to cause problems/aggression

Yeah definitley sounds good to me this will be an awesome tank! Do you guys know if Midas dig at all?
