Alright so I have 16*20L 6*40BR and 4*50 gallon tanks sitting empty in the basement (bought part of a breeders stock when he was going out of bus. a year or two back $100 for all of them :nilly:) and I have the overwhelming urge to put them to good use. My first thought was breeding some of the more uncommon shrimp but I cant decide. Any suggestions?

Personally, if you have the money, I would do discus. They can fetch a nice penny for fry.

OR

Festae (would need much larger tank), Blue Rams (always get a good return), or any uncommon fish.

Good luck

Those are big tanks for breeding shrimp, people usually use 10g for that. You could do that though or some bristlenose plecos. Angelfish, some rams, or Africans.

The guy I got them from did angels. I figure the bigger the tank the more shrimp I can fit in it. I think I will look into the plecos though and see what that is all about.

Discus worry me, i am working on setting up my bedroom discus tank atm and if that goes well I might just try that out..Would cost and arm and a leg and a left nut to get started though lol
