want to build a plywood tank...help??

ya i was looking into building a plywood tank never actually attempted this project but it seems fun so i was looking help for how to build it, how much its gonna cost to build and anything that would be of use building this thing

What dimensions are you shooting for?

around a 100 gal tank so if you would tell me that would be great more long and a little tall

For 100g you'd be better off with a glass tank

Yup...just get a glass tank

After you buy wood, screws, fiberglass, resin, epoxy, silicone, screws, tools, paint, glass and then spend a week building and leak testing it you will be near what a glass tank costs. Now if you want a 300g or larger, sure wood starts to make sense.

I have interest in attempting this myself, however, everything I have read suggests it doesn't get cost effective until you get over the 300-400 gallon range.

how about i build a 350 gal tank cause i think it would go perfect in my breezeway
