Want to sell my tank. What's it worth?

Well, my wife asked me to downsize my tank. So, my 265 has to go. Only thing I don't know is what it's worth. Any ideas would be great. Thanks in advance.

Used tanks generally go about $1 per gallon.

A dollar a gallon for tank only, 2-3 dollars a gallon for set up, depending on quality of stand, lights, filtration, etc.

Hobbyists I work with typically start negotiations at $1 a gallon for glass and $1.25-$1.50 a gallon for acrylic. If you have a stand, add $0.25, and if it's inclusive of filtration, heater, decorations, etc., add another $0.50. The lighting will add a little more, depending on whether you're running fresh or salt... Instead of selling outright, you might be able to find a trading partner who is looking to upsize, and your need to downsize might create a perfect trade with $$ opportunity...

it depends alot on what it comes, with, glass or acrylic, and over all condition of the tank.

This is a wood colored trim tank 84"L x 24"W x 30"H, Matching stand, Glass lids, 2 - 36" light bars (nothing fancy), a fluval FX-5 and 2 heaters.
