i reacently rescued a handfull of young male peacocks from a petstore in the area that was closing and were going to "freeze them" (im told to "humanley put them to sleep") i got them for free and theyve been living happily for 2 months now in my old 29 gallon, however after doing my reaserch i know i need a bigger tank for these guys as soon as humanly possible.
Was going to rehome but ive seen an imporvment in communication from my autistic son since getting these pretty fish...
im epileptic so travel is very limited. i can pick up in the ansonia derby and surround or in the danbury areas of CT.

so to recap:

55-75 gallon fishtank with stand (and preferably working light/hood)
extra equiptment (ie heater and airpump) would be greatly apreciated, i HAVE a good filtration system rated to handle up to 100 gallons so not worried about a filter.

i can offer up to $100. but would prefer to spend LESS

thanks pm'd the poster so *fingers crossed*
unfortunatly its not a matter of willing to drive, its that im epileptic so can only drive for a limited amount at a time...im pretty much restricted to within the southwestern corner of CT in terms of distance, and i unfortunatly dont have anyone that could drive me...

thank you!

Also, check out craigslist.com.

It might take a few months, but I am 100% sure you could find a 55-75 gallon tank for under $50 in your area.

Just be patient searching for a deal, and you will find one. Good luck!
