well I guess it depends. if those are pets or feeders.

They are my little buddies! I keep 3 Goldfish and a Koi in a 10 gallon. They are around 3 inches right now. So if the RTC is 1 inch then there is a size advantage. Not to mention I have the Goldfish that look like golfballs.

Do you think I could pull it off until he gets as big as the goldfish and then transport him?

Overstocked already. 3 fancies take at least a 29 gallon. The koi will need a pond. You couldn't pull it off.. bioload already HUGE.

Absolutely not, I dont know what kind of filter you use, but I have never seen my filter crash or go overload. Not mention the fact that I feed them sporadicly. (Please dont do what the food label says) " Feed 4 times a day"

3 -Goldfish and a Koi is perfect for a 10 gallon with a strong filter. My parameters are always in tip top shape. Not to mention the simple fact that I make water changes every two weeks.

They do poop a lot but its not bad enough that you have to keep only 1 goldfish per 10 US Gallons.

I dont get where people get this impression that you need like a bath tub in order to keep Goldfish or Koi.

Yeah they get really big after a while but right now they are only like 3 inches long. At this very moment Im not going to get the rubbermaid pond for a 3 inch fish.

BUllheads and perch and eels is all ive cought in the hudson river. You can try to fish out a mutated bullead.

Yeah pretty much!!!!

I mean the way these blithering idiots here in the "City of New York" treat their waters and wild life (whatevers left of it), I honestly wouldn't be surprised if I did fish out a Bullhead with 4 eyes or a Largemouth Bass with a small mouth.(It sounds stupid but I tried HAHA)

Yeah its pretty hard to get native fish here in Queens NY. Its all catch and release and most fish farms are upstate where they charge like 60 dollars to ship overnight.
