I've always wanted a sturgeon. Anybody know where to get one, about how much? Etc.. And any tips on husbandry... I currently have a RTC, Aro, Ret. Ray, Clown knife, and a pair of clown loaches. all under 7". I'm brainstorming larger DIY tanks for them for this year, but would really like to add a sturgeon to the collection.

i remember 5-6 months ago one of my LFS had several 3-4" sturgeons for sale. but i can't recall what they wanted for them
sturgeon are coldwater fish they do not survive long in tropical temps so they would not go well with your other fish
I know that sturgeons are a temperate/cold water fish. After doing research, I've pretty much decided against it. Does anybody know their growth rate? If it takes them a while to get over the 4-5 ft mark than I could probably handle one. If I did get a sturgeon, I have nothing that can house a 15ft fish, what does everybody else do with their sturgeons????
if you get a sterlet it won't get over 4 feet in captivity and generally people don't keep the sturgeons that get 15 feet because most are endangered and its unlikely you'll find one that gets huge
i hear there cold water animals... i had a pair but they died within a few months. very cool looking fish n i would love to have another
