I have a 56 gallon column tank with two 6 inch feather fin cats ,a seven inch calliythys callithys catfish, 3 stripe raphaeal, and three spotted raphaeal catfish and one lone blue gourami in the summer may add two more gourami ( type not sure now) three mts snails and 14 mystery snails as scavenger. A compact sword plant ,5 anubias petite, several bunches of frogbits and duckweeds , a emerse dumb cane plant and several small golden pothos, 5 28 inch lucky bamboo, right now for filtration an eheim 2217 and aquaclear hob 70. Thinking about adding another eheim2217 and storing the aquaclear 70 to be use as bad up if one filter goes down. Is this a good move on my part? What is the forum members opinion? Thanks
 
I think you are okay with just the 70 and the eheim. But I wouldn't hurt to have 10x turn over with a group of messy cats. What are the dimensions of the tank. That doesn't relate to the question but I'm just curious.
