do you think that you could house a couple of blue gills and maybe some bass in my tank along with some cichlids a red tail cat and a clown knife and bichirs

It can work but the fish will have to go in a med tank and have meds pumped through them to get anything they may have out of them so you dont kill your other fish. But you should remember that they are wild fish and the bass will make quick work of your bichir and cichlids probly

BTW, you never said what size tank you plan on putting them in? Mixing natives and tropical generally isn't a good idea because natives often need cooler water for their long term health and survival.
i had a bass in my 55 gallon with some bluegill and some white perch but the bass killed them all the bass was 8 inchs.
Make sure you are not breaking any laws by collecting these fish.Cali probably has some law or another against it.asianmick;5074247; said:
