Wanting a stingray...need advice..

I have been seeing alot of people with stingrays and I think would like to also get one. lol I just have a few Q'S
1. what rays would be good for a 150 gal. tank and cost wise
2. what tank mates can go with rays.

any answers are greatly appreciated. thank you!

1. In a 150 for life I would say none, some might say hystrix or retic but even for them a 150 is to small for life in my opinion.
2. Arowanas and Clown Knifes do well with rays in my experience.

most rays get in disk size alone to 18-32" across, you need an aquarium that will be wide enough to have them comfortably fit so they don't feel like they are laying in a shoe box. keeps them happy and moving around. Most peaceful larger fish will be fine with rays. Just stay away from cats and plecos.

You can try to keep a rectic or hystrix like John said but in the long run you will have to upgrade ur tank to a 3' wide tank and about 6 feet long...
