Well I think I found a good canidate for my tank. Wife may kill me so if I go MIA well you all know what happened.
No I'm torn between doing hte Plop and Drop which is what I did with the last one 30 min of floating then net and release and doing a drip acclimation. He will be coming from ph 7.0 to my ph of 7.5

ph isnt a problem. i wouldnt even float it unless there was a big temp diff. the hotter the bag temp gets the more toxic the ammo gets. if the temps are close go for it. if there is more then say 10f diff float after you cut the bag and add prime.
Ive always dripped,im glad i read this i have a ripsaw cat comming tuesday. Should i use the same methad? Cut bag float add a little prime? With my pima i dripped 4 hours

No UV at this time, I've been looking for another one but haven't found one I like or one that will fit in the space I have to work with, may have to mount one outside the stand so I need to find a nice looking one.

Vital piece of equipment!!! This can / should greatly heighten the probability of survival for your new aro (or any fish for that matter). As you've suffered a loss already, you might want to consider implementing one before you invest your hard-earned $$$ in another aro.
