chameleons do alright in exo terra glass terrariums dont they? if they dont id gladly go buy a screen cage its just i already have some nice sized exo terra tanks.

thanks for any replies.

species would either be panther, jacksons, or veiled

I've never personally used the Exo-Terra terrariums so I don't really know how much ventilation they have....but everything i've ever read about chameleons says that they need an enclosure with a lot of ventilation, hence the screen cages.

Is this your first chameleon? If so, I think you might want to strongly consider going with the Veiled as they tend to be hardier, more tolerant chams of the three you mentioned. Panthers are good too, but much more expensive than the veileds. Jackson's tend to be the most difficult to keep of the three.

ight. ill go screen.

no this is not my first chameleon. i got my first when i was 6. it was a female veiled. had her for almost 6 whole years.

i found cheap panthers thats why i was wondering.

Yeah...I just got my first Panther and they require about the same skill level as a veiled. They like slightly different temperature gradients than the veileds, but they are just as hardy.

What locale/color variant Panther are you getting?

go screen and veilds are cool (cheap)
panthers very cool(ee maby 500$ for 1 cheaper probel)
and jacksons are cool(some times cheap)
so if ur new at keeping them get a veild

I'd ask Chris Anderson about this, he's kept chams in exo terra's but lets just see what has to say.
