Male and a female, lots of high protien food and a piece of rock.

thanks what else should i do? should ther be more than a male and female in the tank? this is all new to me

You can have a few per tank but they will eventually pair up. Once the pair lays eggs you have to strip the eggs and hatch them yourself because blue rams are bad parents

i apreciate youre information. when you say strip the eggs and hatch youreself,do you mean take the rock and or cave out and place in another tank? there is no chance that the parents will be parents to the fry?

yea remove the slate or rock. The parents might take a long time before they will raise the fry or maybe never.
