yesterday i was at my lfs and saw that they had a tank full of baby silvers maybe 3 in or so. i couldnt believe the price $17. right now i only have a 90gal corner and a 125 rec. ive read that an aro needs at least 300. my question is how long can i keep one in my 90. im a glazier so i have done any and everything with glass except build an aquarium. if i can build a 60story highrise and endless other custom glass structures im sure building a 350gal fishtank shoulb be easy how long do i have before i have to move him, ive never kept one and i really want to.any advice would be appreciated.

depends how much and how many times a day you feed it, if you feed it 3 times a day it wont take long, if you feed him 2 times a day every 2 days, but at that size they really need to be feed twice a day every day, it will take about 7-8 months.

they'll grow about an inch a month while theyre young so it woulnt take too long. A 90 would be a decent grow out tank though.

i think im going for it is that a good price or what

i paied £40 (apx $80) for my 6 inch silver so i say yeah great price for for it.:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D

im taking my 2 irridecent sharks and trading them in one is an albino. hopefully when i get home ill have one of those little aros. ill try and post some pics soon. i have a very small electric blue and a small kenyi only about 2 to 3 in. if they pick on him they will go too. as long as i can convince the wife and 4yr old daughter. would 78degrees be suitable for him. im excited

its a 90gal corner, lots of room to turn around, but not a lot of distance wall to wall. my two irridecent sharks swim around so fast that sometimes they crash into the wall.

i bought a 4 inch silver put em in a 75 gal 4 months later it was 13 inches
