Wanting to start again with aros need convincing

Well i got rid of my old silver aorwana before christmas and i miss him and we have in one at around 16" at work a beautiful one very very white not snow though, the price is right and im considering getting it for my tropical pond its well covered my mom doesnt mind my dad isnt sure though, hes not an arowana fan, but would it be ok with these:
giant gouramis
peacock bass
oscars and a few cats
the pond is 72xx45 wide x24

what the size of the other fishes ???
I'm just worried about the tucunaré (peacock bass), but all the tanks I"ve seen with them together they get along fine.
It's a really nice fish to have, and since you miss the other, this is the chance to have one again, any pics of it ??

Im just worrying about the giant gourmis with it, they are about 20" and 16" but they are redfins and peaceful ill get pix this weekend.

Im picking it up tomorrow as going to get it tonight but didnt have time so, im getting it tommorrow night its closer to 18" has Drop eye but im not bothered, eats loads and is only £45 as he knows its going to a good home.
