The whole global warming is going to murder us all thing is getting out of hand in the media. This is just going to get people worked up and start hacking away at any snake they see. But alas...maybe it will incur some steeper restrictions on keeping them.

This is actually nothing more than a precursor story.. The USFWS is at this moment investigating placing these snakes and all other Boas and Pythons into the Lacy act as Injurious species.. If listed all Boa and Python species go the way of the Snakehead....

The natural enemies of the python are lions, tigers and other large cats. There are few free-roaming African lions and tigers between Florida and San Francisco
