warning to all MFK'S in Australia

recently i set up my 180 gal with a sump for the filter and i used the filter foam from Clark Rubber and it was fine for a little while, but last Night i cleaned the filter and the filter pads were just pulp, and to make it worse it got into the pump and blew it through the tank now it is everyware.

Has any one ever had this problem before?

It is the coarse blue foam. I've got the same stuff in my sump and it seems ok for now but is only about 2 month old.

Luckily, I found scrubbies at 'The Reject Shop' so I've been using them.

A piece of Mine just did the same thing.

I have two pieces of foam from Clark Rubber
Finer Gray piece had disintegrated and I had to just vacuum it our of the sump.

I also have a course blue foam which is still fine
