hey i got this guy along with another one from big als a couple weeks ago. the one has almost doubled in size, thats the one in the pics. any tips for me and does he look good so far?

Not bad looking at all for a little one. Nice setup but not a very good one for flowerhorns. I recommend a brighter setup (perhaps a more colorful background & smaller, lighter in color gravel cuz they love to dig). Also, bump the temp to 86 F (30 C). It looks well fed...careful not to overfeed. Good luck!
 
okay thank you so much, i'll switch out the substrate for sure and paint my tank blue maybe, i might be putting them in a different tank but thanks alot!! :) glad to hear!

oh wow really? i dont know much about them. they were labelled as warrior in big als. i bought 2 and some flowerhorn food for them and they're growing fast
