So today i sold my 6-7 inch speckled orino peacock bass, a 6-7 inch goliath african tiger fish for a
20 inch Tiger shovel nose catfish
red devil breeding pair
and 300 bucks did i get good deal?

If you're happy then it was a good deal but what are you going to put that cat in? That's the kicker for me.

The catfish is going into my 1300 gallon pond when it is finished i will be posting a thread of the build soon, but in the mean time it will be in my 180 gallon

Fair enough then I guess. As posted above...maybe you where a few dollars short on the deal but fish prices vary from one place to another and if you got what you really wanted and you're able to keep what you wanted...then I say it's a good deal. I always say it doesn't matter if you're talking about baseball cards, classic cars (or fish), etc....things are only really worth what someone is about to give you for them.

Personally I would have never done that deal. But to each his own.
I have a big tsn and rtc I would have traded you :)

Yeah...I'm not a big fan of the cats just because they do look cool...esp the shovel nose but they are pretty boring. Cats just don't seem to do much imo. They pick a spot and stay there until it's time to eat. Maybe he will swim more in a pond but I doubt it. But I bet he is a cool looking fish.

ohh no well hope your happy. are shovel even active tho?
