+1, where im from they sell for about $40 at a couple inches. So you could have probably gotten $200+

I say fair deal, my lfs wants 200+ for 16" and I think they are on crack I could pay for same day air shipping and the fish for that much.

Strange you ask if it was a good deal after you have sold it

If everyone says you could have good $200 easy will you feel bad that you let it go so cheap

You should have asked before you sold it what was a fair price

Usually at that size you can't give them away so I'd say you got a great deal. I don't know why people are stuck with bigger means more money. Most people don't have a tank large enough to house any fish larger than 24" and thus demand is low and price is low. Simple supply and demand. How many people would pay big money for a 6 foot alligator gar? No one, you couldn't get rid of it. Got it?
