He has been biting at her and i saw him swimming with her trying to get her to flip over, but never saw anything actually happen. I did notice however that the female's girly parts seem to be somewhat protruding/swollen/irritated. Do you guys think that he was able to do the deed? Anyone else notice their female's hoo-haa looking swollen/irritated after mating? Since I saw the male chasing her around earlier today he has been the laziest SOB I've ever seen, he found himself a nice quite spot in the tank and hasn't moved for hours, he must be exhausted:ROFL: She hasn't stopped swimming around, like she is in some sort of a great mood:ROFL:

What do you all think?

not that i noticed, i looked and looked for some. my thought is it happened last night (if it happened) and him chasing her around today is just his hormones telling him to try-try again? who knows:screwy:

it litterally takes like 2 seconds once he catches her so if you look away for 5 minutes you could miss it, i highly doubt its that red after 12 hours

so if he didn't get her before, i am thinking he did at some point over the weekend, i found a slimey white clump floating around the tank which i am guessing is semen. I am keeping my fingers crossed!!

So it has been about 7 weeks now since I thought maybe my male motoro had done the deed with my female. I still can't see movement and I am still not sure if she is pregnant or not. She is pretty big, but so is the male. I think they have both gotten bigger because I have been optimistically feeding more in case she is pregnant.
The male stopped chasing her around and then got a little nippy just the other night but then stopped again. I donno what that means, or if it means anything at all.

Anyhow here are some pictures, she doesn't like to hold still so it was hard to get anything decent but let me know what you think..
