and now there all gone!!! what the hell? last night, checked on the tank, all 36 eggs were in the tumbler.....wake up today, check....and there all gone!?!?! like disappeared, no evidence of them being there. the tumbler is in a tank with 2 small breeding convicts, and i still cant see how they would get the big yellow lab eggs, through the net and eat them..... some1 explain how the hell this happened? im super pissed off right now, i was really hoping to have another 30 of so yellow lab fry (to add to the 20 i got a few weeks ago from the same lab)

Just wanted to clarify, 1st you said they were in a tumbler and then you were wondering how they got through the net? Can you help clarify and maybe someone could offer some suggestions.
Might just have to move them breeding convicts somewhere else while your raising these lil yellow fry.....

The convicts sucked the eggs right through the netting or screen. Modify the tumbler by adding a second screen about a quarter of an inch below the first. This modification will prevent the fish from sucking out the eggs.
