how do i keep my male red devil from being so aggressive to my female? hes 5 inches, and shes about 4. there in a 125 gallon, and hes killed 2 oscars that were bigger than him. theres 2 plecos and 2 clown loaches in there also.he doesnt touch'm. i think hes just bored. please hit me up, let me know what u think.

Welcome to MFK..love your tank and red devils... they are beautiful... red devils as you know are aggressive cichlids so it is pretty common to have them squabble among themselves ... if they are a pair the male may be being aggressive to breed.. the female may not be ready... if two males then it could be territorial between them... two females usually not much of a problem but one could try to be dominant.. hope for the best.. and if not separate for awhile and try again.. change the tank around.. hope you post those beauties in my red devil photo thread.. wish you luck with them...
