I just joined recently due to something I have never personally seen. I had a pair of convicts, a jack dempsy, a texas cichlid, and a firemouth all in a 55 gallon tank. They were all pretty small when I got them, well before I could relocate them to seperate tanks or a bigger tank a family member took charge of my tank. Well long story short its been a year and I got some of the fish back not my originals because my aunt fell in love with cichlids and said I could not have them. She gave me babies, at first I thought they were convict babies. Now that they are bigger I see they have to be a cross hybrid. My question is convict and what? I am gonna try and include pics.

Seriously, all those fish have at one time or another been cross bred with each of the others you have listed and many other cichlids.
