I was hoping someone on here could tell me if I just wasted $20 on a short bodied GT or if I picked up a 6.5 inch GT with potential to be the beast I've been looking for. If it does turn out to be a short bodied GT I'm going to be pretty disappointed. Also, can anyone tell me how long the SBGTs normally grow? Here are a few pictures. They are the best I could get.PA133129.JPGPA133123.JPGPA133124.JPGPA133125.JPG

SBGT or not, he's looks great! You should see my GT to compare. Mine is really pale even posted a thread about his color and it all came down to genetics. I still have him and he's healthy. Congrats!

He's not a shortbody, but has been stunted - he is gorgeous though!

I hope you're right. Stunted I can deal with. I just really don't like Short Body fish. I figure I can add a little extra protein to his diet and give him room to run and hopefully in time I'll be able to get him up to size.

I think as you reject SB fish so much youre starting to get baised about it,-like those ppl who dont want to be fat and being thin they think they're fat!!!- this GT is very nice, it doesnt look like a SB at all, he looks quite colorful and he has a hump, I think he's got potential.

Cheers.

Maybe you're right. As far as his nuchal goes, I really hope I can get it to grow. He actually had a little brother in the same tank with him who had twice the nuchal at almost half the size but, his body was deformed so I passed him up. Too bad though. From the neck up, that little guy was amazing.
