I have a feeding tube on my tank that basically is a little pocket that will hold floating pellets and prevent them from going into the over-flows. It works great when the fish go up to get some and swim away gently but now that they are getting large, when they swoosh away from the feeding tube all of the food gets shoved out and finds its way down the over-flow. I end up with a ton of pellets in my wet-dry.

I should not buy any more floating pellets and just stick to sinking ones.

I'm sure others are in the same boat.

Rant over.

i have the same issue but i use NLS small pellets and alot of them sink but alot float there way into the overflow and into my sump...ive been meaning to get a couple of filter socks to keep them from getting in the bottom of my sump but just havent yet.
